CHALLENGE WALK 2022
We are back enjoying outdoor activities again and we’re happy to welcome our partner, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados Inc. with ICAB’s Healthy Lifestyle Challenge.
ICAB Members completed the ICAB Steps Challenge which was held during the month of October 2022. In November, during Accountants’ Week there will be the Challenge Walk from Oistins to Dover to Miami Beach
THE ROUTE
Assemble at Oistins public car park
Turn right onto Oistins Main Road
Proceed along Maxwell Main Road
Turn right onto Oistins Main Road
Proceed along Maxwell Main Road
Turn left onto Headley Road
Turn left onto Dover Gardens and then make immediate right hand turn onto Headley Road
Turn right onto Dover Gardens
Pass Dover playing field on the right hand side onto Dover Beach (Take a 5 – 10 minute break if necessary)
Cross Dover Road and you are on Dover Beach
(Break 5 – 10 minute)
On leaving Dover Beach, make a right onto Dover Road
Follow the road until you reach Maxwell Main Road
Take a right turn onto Maxwell Main Road and continue to Oistins Main Road
Make sharp right by the Oistins Bus Depot
Pass the Post Office on your left hand side and continue onwards to Enterprise Beach Road
Finish at Miami Beach
Turn left onto Dover Gardens and then make immediate right hand turn onto Headley Road
Turn right onto Dover Gardens
Pass Dover playing field on the right hand side onto Dover Beach (Take a 5 – 10 minute break if necessary)
Cross Dover Road and you are on Dover Beach
(Break 5 – 10 minute)

CHALLENGE WALK RULES
1. ICAB members and their family are eligible to participate in the CHALLENGE WALK
2. The Steps Challenge was to prepare ICAB members for the Challenge Walk
3. Registration for the Challenge Walk should be submitted by 12:30 p.m. on Friday November 11, 2022.
4. Registration 19 October 2022 to 08 November 2022.
5. Participation is by registration only

- ICAB members must register themselves and their family members
- Registration is free
- ICAB members asked to wear their ICAB shirts and their guests are kindly asked to wear blue or gold plain shirts only, to represent the colours of ICAB. (Members who do not have an ICAB shirt can wear a blue or gold shirt)
6. Check in time is between 6:00 a.m. and 6:55 a.m. The Heart & Stoke Foundation will be conducting warm up exercises during this time.
7. Prizes for the Steps and Walk Challenges will be Presented at Miami Beach
