ICAB is participating in the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification’s National Tree Planting Project. The objective of the project is to plant one million trees to help reduce the country’s carbon footprint.
On National Arbor Day, September 22, 2021, ICAB launched its Accountants’ Week Give-Back Day Initiative – ICAB Plantin’. The National Conservation Commission (NCC) donated twelve (12) fruit trees – sugar apple tree, a guava tree, a gooseberry tree, a Suriname cherry tree, a bajan cherry tree, a pomegranate tree, two (2) soursop trees, two (2) pawpaw trees and two (2) mango trees – to get ICAB members started on this initiative.
On Monday November 8, 2021 ICAB invites all members to:
- upload and post a picture of themselves planting a tree or a picture of a tree they recently planted in their Facebook and Instagram Stories
- Tag ICAB
